DELISTED Geelong rookie Blake Schlensog will continue his football journey on the other side of the Nullarbor.

The 20-year-old has signed with WAFL club South Fremantle for the next two years.

A Belmont Lions and Grovedale junior, Schlensog spent two years with the Cats after arriving from the Geelong Falcons as a Next Generation Academy selection.

CATS: NARKLE AMONG FIVE RE-SIGNINGS

The 198cm big man played 13 games and kicked eight goals during the 2019 VFL season.

Schlensog, who was delisted last month, is among nine departures from Geelong following last month’s grand final loss.

He joins retirees Gary Ablett, Harry Taylor and Jack Steven, traded duo Lachie Fogarty (Carlton) and Nakia Cockatoo (Brisbane Lions), and fellow delisted players James Parsons, Jacob Kennerley and Jake Tarca as those leaving GMHBA Stadium.
