TORQUAY’s Spring Creek Reserve has been named as host of the 2014 BFL grand final.

AFL Barwon has allocated the September 12 decider to the ground for the seventh time in eight years.

The opening weekend of the finals (August 23-24) will again be played at Portarlington.

However, a decision on the venues for the semi and preliminary finals has been deferred for at least a fortnight with ground conditions to be taken into consideration.

Meanwhile the GFL qualifying and elimination finals will be played at West Oval on the weekend of August 30-31, with the remainder of the finals series scheduled for Simonds Stadium.
