Mark Doran

Mark Doran is a multi award-winning AFL broadcaster and journalist who first joined the KROCK Football team in 2003.

A life long – and long suffering – Saints fan, Mark secretly wishes he barracked for the Cats and loves nothing more than calling the blue-and-white brilliance on the big stage of the MCG.

Mark’s versatility has seen him commentate on a multitude of other sports and major events including four Olympic Games, Cricket and Football World Cups, Wimbledon, and the British Open. But his favorite moment in 25+ years covering sport was running onto the SCG with Channel 7 boundary rider microphone in hand after boyhood idol Tony Lockett kicked his 1300th goal.
