Tim-McGrathA long-serving member of the K-ROCK Football team, Tim McGrath is popular with listeners for his forthright and honest appraisal of AFL.

Originally from Noble Park, McGrath won a Morrish Medal as VFL Under 19s best and fairest in 1988 with North Melbourne, before playing seven games in three years with the Kangaroos.

Malcolm Blight liked what he saw from the redheaded defender, pouncing on ‘Bluey’ when he was let go from Arden Street. McGrath went on to play 219 games with the Cats, including their grand final losses in 1992, ’94 and ’95.

He has been part of K-ROCK Football for the best part of a decade, and was on the voting panel for the 2012 Norm Smith Medal.
