WERRIBEE has suffered an off-season blow with midfielder Jesse Crichton departing the club.

The former Fremantle Docker has returned to the west where he will line-up with WAFL club East Fremantle.

Originally from Tasmania, he played 18 games in four seasons with Fremantle before joining the Tigers.

Crichton spent two seasons and played 38 games at Avalon Airport Oval. He was vice-captain of Werribee in 2015 and captained the side on a number of occasions with Michael Sodomaco sidelined through injury.
