CATS greats Jimmy Bartel and Corey Enright have been inducted into the AFL Hall of Fame.

Enright has been recognised for his 332 games across a 16 year career, playing in three premierships and a two-time Carji Greeves medallist with the club among his notable achievements.

Bartel’s achievements include a Brownlow medal in 2007, three premierships and 305 games with the club.

He thanked his mum during Tuesday night’s ceremony.

“I think my fondest memories are all those hours in the car, criss-crossing Victoria listening to your horrible taste in music,” he joked.

“Doing the trivia, talking about school, talking about everything.

“That’s what football was for me.”

Other inductees into the Hall of Fame include Hawks great and now coach Sam Mitchell, Port Adelaide premiership coach Mark Williams, broadcaster Bruce McAvaney.

SANFL champion Michael Aish and South Australian ruckman in the 1920s Tom Leahy were also recognised.
