GEELONG is back in the top eight of the ladder following their 62-point drubbing of North Melbourne at Kardinia Park.

Cats forward Tyson Stengle contributed a career-high five goals to the 125-63 win.

“I feel like we’re now starting to get the wheels rolling and hopefully we’ll finish the season strong,” he said.

Cats coach Chris Scott was in no doubt his team are “very, very dangerous” heading into the pointy end of the season.

“We are very confident that if we play our best footy, we’re the danger,” he said.

Zac Tuohy made history with his 265th game breaking the record for the most VFL/AFL matches played by an Irish-born player.

Geelong’s run towards the finals will be boosted by the expected return of Jeremy Cameron from concussion in time to face the fifth-placed Bombers next week at GMHBA Stadium.
