All-Australian honours for Clark

THE honours have continued for Geelong Falcons captain Jhye Clark after being named in the under-18 All-Australian team.

The Queenscliff product, widely-touted as a top-10 selection in this year’s AFL National Draft, was named as rover in the 23-person squad.

It comes after Clark claimed the Falcons’ best-and-fairest last week and received the Vic Country MVP award following the under-18 National Championships.

If, as expected, Clark finds himself on an AFL list next month, he will be just the second person drafted from Queenscliff behind Darcy Gardiner.

Also named in the All-Australian team was Geelong Grammar’s Oliver Hollands, who plays his NAB League football with the Murray Bushrangers.

North Shore star Jason Davenport was named coach after guiding Vic Metro to the national title.
