New faces for Falcons Girls
- Updated: February 28, 2019
JUST nine members of the Geelong Falcons Girls 2018 premiership team will take to the field when this year’s under-18 girls season gets underway against Sandringham Dragons on Sunday.
Names like Nina Morrison, Olivia Purcell and Denby Taylor, who spearheaded the Falcons to last year’s title, are gone.
However, the likes of captain Lucy McEvoy and fellow premiership players and leadership group members Abbey Chapman, Luka Lesosky-Hay, Kaity Haustorfer, Paige Sheppard and Renee Tierney will ensure an easy transition for the ten debutants.
